Invite your team
Add coworkers to your organization and choose the access they need to do their work.
Only a user with permission to create users can invite teammates. Invited people join your organization; they do not create a separate workspace.
Send an invitation
- Open Users and choose the option to invite a user.
- Enter the coworker’s email address.
- Choose one or more roles that match their responsibilities.
- If your organization uses store access, select the stores they should work with.
- Send the invitation and share the link with the coworker if needed.
An invitation is for one email address and expires after seven days. Sending a replacement invitation invalidates the previous link. You can resend or withdraw a pending invitation from the user management area.
Choose a role
Roles determine which areas and actions a person can access. Arata includes an Admin role and a read-focused Member role. Ready-made roles such as Cashier, Store manager, Accountant, and Warehouse keeper can help you get started; an administrator can adjust these roles for your organization.
Give each person only the permissions needed for their work. A user can have more than one role, and permissions from those roles are combined. You cannot assign a permission you do not already have.
Change access later
An administrator can update a person’s roles or account status from Users. Removing a role changes what the user can do the next time they make a request. Arata requires each organization to keep at least one active administrator.
If a teammate cannot see a page
The page may be hidden or its actions disabled because their roles do not include the needed permission. Ask an administrator to review the person’s roles before sharing admin access.
